The name Capricorn is Latin for "horned goat" or "having horns like a goat's", and it is commonly represented in the form of a sea-goat: a mythical creature that is half goat, half fish. Despite it being the smallest, he constellation Capricornus has one of the oldest mythological associations, having been represented as a hybrid goat/fish since the Middle Bronze Age, when the babylonians used the "Goat-Fish" as a symbol of their god Ea. Capricornus is more commonly identified as Pan, the god with a goat's horns and legs, who saved himself from the monster Typhon by giving himself a fish's tail and diving into a river.
If you know a Capricorn, you know that they are loyal beings who are persistently loyal. With Earth being their element and the sea-goat being their symbol; they can be stubborn, but that is the sheer drive and ambition they have. But have you wondered what they smell like?
