When it comes to your wedding, you want to capture every moment of your magical day and preserve it in a time capsule. The senses are incorporated and thoroughly overwhelmed during a wedding; the SIGHT of loved ones gathering around for cherished photos, the SOUND of laughter roaring from the groomsman's speech, the distinguished TASTE of the food and especially the cake, and the feeling when you TOUCH the fabric on your wedding gown, but what about capturing the SMELL of your special day? The smell of something can immediately trigger a detailed memory or an intense emotion. Here at Evodia Fragrances, we turn memories into an everlasting euphoria.
Memories are often associated with the sense of smell and we want only the best for you and your special day!
July was originally called "Quintilis", meaning "fifth month", marking where it originally fell on the Roman 10-month calendar. It was renamed to July in 45 BCE after Julius Caesar, the Roman dictator who laid the groundwork for our 12-month calendar. July makes us think of fresh cut grass, the ocean, and freshly, cleaned sheets blowing in the breeze. Because of the warmer weather, bright, vibrant colors, and longer days, you can be sure to add joy to any wedding you'll be celebrating this month, whether it is yours or a loved ones! They say time flies when you're having fun, and that is especially true during the month of July!
Here at Evodia Fragrances, we only want the best for you. So no unpleasant aromas here. To capture every scent of Summer, Evodia Fragrances has over120 oils, and the euphoric aroma combinations we can create are endless!
Fresh Cut Grass
While the scent of freshly cut grass is pleasant to most of us, it is actually your lawn letting you know that a predator is nearby. The predator, of course, being the lawn mower. According to Science Illustrated, when grass is cut, it emits pheromones called green leaf volatiles, or (GLVs). Australian researches even discovered that when grass is cut, it releases chemicals that make people feel happy and relaxed. And you are definitely going to need some of those chemicals during your backyard wedding. (Get out of here stress!)
One example of our euphoric combinations include: A fresh, woodsy aroma with savory notes of Dirt and Fresh Cut Wood, this scent evokes the feeling of nostalgia. Lingering notes of Gardenia, Sweet Grass, and Leather provide a wake of Déjà vu. Stimulating notes of Sunflower and Sandalwood flow through, which bring forth contentment.
The Ocean
The smell of the ocean breeze contributes to your soothed state. The ebbing and flowing that you hear as you lie on your towel de-stimulates our brains and calms even the largest of worry-warts. But the beautiful thing about the scent of the sea is its pungent, unique, persistent smell; and for each of us it can take on specific and personal notes linked to our most beautiful memories. So why wouldn't we want to have a wedding on the beach? (Sign me up!)
One example of our euphoric combinations include: A fresh aroma with steady notes of Bamboo & Teak and Guava Colada, this scent stimulates peace. Lingering notes of Spa, Ocean Breeze, and Tea Tree provide a wake of serotonin. Refreshing notes of Lemon and Sun & Sand flow through, which bring forth relaxation.
Freshly, Cleaned Sheets
Back in the days before clothes dryers, there wasn't any alternative to getting our clothing dry than hanging them outside on a clothesline. Many people still would rather hang their sheets outside because the feeling they get when they smell the fresh sun-dried sheets brings up nostalgic memories. Your July wedding should bring this same feeling; even if that means hanging your wedding gown out on the line.
One example of our euphoric combinations include: A fresh, floral aroma with delicate notes of Spa and Agarwood, this scent delivers leisure. Crisp notes of Juniper Breeze, Clean Cotton, and Aspen Grass provide a wake of stillness. Pure notes of Enchanted Orchid and Apple flow through, which bring forth alleviation.
July's Color of Everlasting Euphoria - Coral
Bright, vibrant coral sums up July with all of its energy, promise, excitement and fun. Picture yourself in a tropical destination watching the awe-inspiring sunset or a flock of flamingoes; or even applying your favorite peach-pink lipstick or smelling a bouquet of sweetly-perfumed flowers. Coral is everywhere in the summer. Coral is generally a combination of reds, pinks, and oranges; however because it's color diversity is so fluid and ever-changing, Coral is a color that is hard to define. The color itself symbolizes happiness and prosperity, making it a fabulous choice to add into any joyous occasion, like your wedding! If you want to stick to the traditional birthstone color, Ruby, for your wedding color, the color represents love and commitment so you can definitely take a calming breath knowing you're in good hands.
Regardless of your color palate, or your symbol for love; Evodia Fragrances will still create a bottle that complements your magical day! With over 20 colors and five bottle styles to choose from, you can create your perfect blend to capture the everlasting euphoria from your wedding.
