Ever wondered how your favorite fragrances go from an idea to that perfect spritz on your skin? Welcome to Workshop Wednesday, where we take you behind the scents at Evodia Fragrances and show you the magic of scent-making, and how you can create your very own Custom Scent!

Step 1: Picking the Perfect Base

Every great fragrance starts with a solid foundation. Think of it like building a house—without a strong base, the whole thing falls apart! In the lab, we carefully select deep, long-lasting base notes like warm vanilla, woody sandalwood, or sensual musk. These are the scents that linger long after the top notes fade.
Step 2: The Heart of the Scent

The middle, or heart notes, are the soul of the fragrance. This is where florals, spices, and fruity notes shine. Jasmine, rose, cinnamon, or even a hint of lavender—this is the personality of your perfume! We mix and match these to create the perfect balance.
Step 3: First Impressions Matter

Finally, we add the top notes—the first thing you smell when you spray a fragrance. These are bright, fresh, and attention-grabbing. Zesty citrus? Juicy berries? Maybe a fresh burst of mint? These notes make sure your scent starts strong before settling into its full experience.
The Pour, the Blend, and the Magic in Evodia Fragrance Lab
Once we’ve chosen the perfect notes, it’s time for the fun part—mixing! Slow-motion swirls, careful drops, and lots (we mean lots) of sniff tests happen in the Evodia lab. When we finally get that chef’s kiss moment, the fragrance is bottled and ready for you to enjoy! For Custom Scents, we blend your scent with our Evodia Elixirs, which bind the scents uniquely to your pheromones!

Your Turn: What Should We Create Next?
Fragrance is personal, and we love hearing what YOU want to smell next! Would you rock a smoky vanilla with a hint of bourbon? Or maybe a tropical coconut-lime dream? Drop your dream fragrance in the comments or tag us @EvodiaFragrances with your ideas!
Until next week, keep sniffing, keep dreaming, and keep smelling amazing.
